I’m driving John and Renee to the airport in a few hours for their passionate get-away to Cape Breton. This makes me a very understanding wife, especially since it’s my anniversary in two days.
Our upcoming anniversary (28 years!) is something John reminded me of last night as he was packing his bags. Honestly, I had forgotten.

Thanks, Eden! He loves this race and team bonding! It is his 8th time in 11 years. I keep threatening to start training and join the team…he knows me well enough to realize I’m just yanking his chain…xo
